Volunteer awards

The Berlin Football Association honors numerous
Honorary members in recognition of their special services to Berlin football.
"The many thousands of volunteers and sports clubs are one of the pillars of our society."
(Federal President Joachim Gauck on January 29, 2013 at the Federal Final of the "Stars of Sports" 2012 in Berlin)

BFV Volunteer Day 2016
Award for Wolfgang Döbler
Our chairman, Wolfgang Döbler, was honored for his outstanding service.
Through an agreement with the district office, he enabled refugees to participate in sports activities. The resulting connection of the group to FC Treptow is reflected in the registration of a seven-a-side men's team for regular league play.
DFB Volunteer Award 2018
for Konrad Wich
Our board member and chief treasurer Konrad Wich was awarded the DFB Volunteer Award for his work in converting, expanding and designing the facade of the former gatehouse into a club-owned club and coaches' office, which involved many hours of voluntary work.
This DFB Volunteer Award was announced for the 22nd time by the German Football Association in March 2019 for the year 2018 and is therefore an integral part of the DFB's Volunteer Campaign.
